48 muertes por coronavirus, la cifra más alta desde que llegó la pandemia

Este lunes fueron confirmados 2.335 nuevos casos de COVID-19. Con estos registros, suman 62.268 positivos en el país.

Del total de esos casos, 1.064 (1,7%) son importados, 22.481 (36,1%) son contactos estrechos de casos confirmados, 27.136 (43,6%) son casos de circulación comunitaria y el resto se encuentra en investigación epidemiológica.

Durante la mañana de este lunes se habían informado 13 muertes. Desde ese último reporte emitido, se registraron 35 nuevos fallecimientos. 21 hombres, 13 de 62, 82, 76, 82, 75, 53, 82, 45, 81, 75, 81, 87 y 87, residentes en la provincia de Buenos Aires; 7 de 52, 55, 60, 61, 81, 76 y 66 años, residentes en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (CABA); uno de 73 años, residente en la provincia de Córdoba; y 14 mujeres, 4 de 90, 89, 88 y 46 años, residentes en la provincia de Buenos Aires; 10 de 83, 88, 75, 95, 75, 52, 92, 93 y 91 años; más una sin dato de edad, residentes en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (CABA). Al momento la cantidad de personas fallecidas es 1.280.

Se incluyen 13 casos existentes en las Islas Malvinas según información de prensa (debido a la ocupación ilegal del Reino Unido, Gran Bretaña e Irlanda del Norte no es posible contar con información propia sobre el impacto del COVID -19 en esa parte del territorio argentino).
