Alberto Fernández extendió la cuarentena en Buenos Aires a 136 días, con reaperturas y permisos progresivos

Tras dictar un endurecimiento de la cuarentena de tres semanas en la Capital Federal y el conurbano bonaerense, donde viven 15 de los 45 millones de habitantes del país, Alberto Fernández anunció este viernes que a partir del lunes en esta zona del país y en otras donde también hay transmisión comunitaria del nuevo coronavirus (algunas ciudades Chaco, Río Negro y Neuquén), se pasará a una fase más flexible, de aperturas escalonadas.

El aislamiento social, preventivo y obligatorio (ASPO) cumplió ayer 120 días.

ASPO, a diferencia de DISPO (Distanciamiento Social, Preventivo y Obligatorio), significa que nadie puede salir de sus casas excepto para hacer compras en el súper, la verdulería o el kiosco, o que se trate de trabajadores de actividades esenciales y exceptuadas.

El Presidente anunció que el ASPO en estas zonas del país continuará hasta el domingo 2 de agosto, lo que significa que en buena parte de la Argentina la cuarentena habrá durado 136 días, probablemente el confinamiento más largo del mundo dispuesta contra la pandemia de la enfermedad respiratoria Covid-19.

El mandatario fundamentó la decisión de mantener el ASPO dos semanas más y reanudar la apertura progresiva de las actividades, y darle aire a la vida de millones de personas, basándose en los datos epidemiológicos.

Como es su costumbre, explicó con filminas las cifras de contagios y de muertos por Covid-19, y volvió a destacar a la Argentina entre los países de América Latina que mejores resultados sanitarios lograron en contener la pandemia gracias a la estrategia encarada por su gobierno.

Sin embargo, la imagen de Fernández venía cayendo en las encuestas, al fragor de los cada vez más insistentes y crecientes reclamos de distintos sectores económicos y de la oposición por la parálisis de la economía y el cansancio de las personas por estar obligadas a permanecer en sus hogares durante casi cuatro meses.

Día del Amigo, a distancia

El Presidente realizó el anuncio en la residencia de Olivos, acompañado por el jefe de Gobierno porteño, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, y el gobernador bonaerense, Áxel Kicillof, a quienes se sumaron por teleconferencia desde sus provincias los gobernadores de Chaco, Jorge Capitanich; de Río Negro, Arabela Carreras, y de Jujuy, Gerardo Morales.

“Si hay que volver atrás volveremos atrás, y si tenemos que ajustar más ajustaremos más”, dijo Fernández, tras advertir la situación sanitaria está aún lejos de estar superada.

El jefe de Estado dijo que el promedio de edad de los fallecidos es de 73 años, por lo que solicitó que las personas de más de 60 “sigan aislándose en sus casas y sigan cuidándose”.

También pidió a la ciudadanía tener especial cuidado y respetar las medidas de distanciamiento social ante la celebración del Día del Amigo, el lunes 20.

“Aquellos que queremos tanto a nuestros amigos, lo mejor que podemos hacer es saludarlos a la distancia”, dijo.

Fernández afirmó que el sistema sanitario no se vio saturado como “consecuencia de los cuidados”, que se deben “extremar para poder seguir controlando la situación”, y aseveró: “El aislamiento nos permite no caer en la crisis en que cayeron otros países, ni de elegir quién vive y quién muere”.

En el caso particular la Capital y el conurbano bonaerense, destacó que “el aislamiento ha permitido corregir el tiempo de contagio”, pero que aún se está “muy lejos aún de superar ese problema”.

Informó que en esa área se registraron 110 mil casos hasta el momento, con una ocupación de camas que está en un 64 por ciento de su capacidad total.

Running en Capital

En la Capital Federal se habilitarán de manera progresiva en los próximos días varias actividades y servicios económicos y sociales.

Por ejemplo, volverá la actividad física de manera individual. Es decir que, después de tres semanas de prohibición, las personas podrán salir a caminar, correr y hacer ejercicio físico al aire libre por número de DNI de 6 de la tarde a 10 de la mañana.

Reabrirán los comercios de cercanía; se permitirán los conciertos musicales, con la reunión física de los músicos pero transmitidos por streaming; se reanudará la posibilidad de comprar comida para llevar (take away), y se retomará la actividad en las escuelas pero solo las administrativas, no las clases.

Además se reactivarán los centros comerciales, salvo aquellos de alta circulación y el transporte público seguirá permitido únicamente para trabajadores de actividades esenciales.

También podrán seguir saliendo los niños, acompañados por sus padres, durante una hora por día de 10 a 18, para no cruzarse con los runners.

Además, se reabrirán los templos religiosos pero solamente para rezo individual, con hasta 10 personas, y las ceremonias podrán ser transmitidas por streaming.

“La pandemia hizo que se restrinjan libertades en todo el mundo. Con este plan nosotros confiamos en la responsabilidad de todos para poder ir recuperando esas libertades”, dijo Rodríguez Larreta.
