Rusia registr贸 una vacuna contra el coronavirus

El Mandatario ruso inform贸 que la vacuna pas贸 todos los controles necesarios, aunque el pa铆s no present贸 a煤n datos cient铆ficos sobre sus pruebas.

Rusia聽registr贸 este martes una vacuna contra el聽coronavirus聽desarrollada por el Instituto Gamaleya, con sede en Mosc煤,聽anunci贸 esta ma帽ana el presidente Vladimir Putin聽en la televisi贸n estatal rusa.

Hablando聽en vivo聽por teleconferencia con los ministros de su gabinete,聽Putin dijo que la vacuna ha pasado por todos los controles necesarios.

“Funciona relativamente bien, crea una inmunidad sostenible y, reitero, pas贸 todas las pruebas necesarias”,聽afirm贸 Putin durante una reuni贸n con los miembros del Gobierno.

El Mandatario precis贸 adem谩s que la vacunaci贸n de la poblaci贸n deber谩 realizarse exclusivamente de forma voluntaria, agregando que聽espera que la producci贸n en masa del medicamento聽empiece en breve.

Y agreg贸 que una de sus hijas se hab铆a vacunado聽y que ten铆a una temperatura un poco m谩s alta, pero que ahora se siente mejor.

Por su parte, el ministro de Salud de Rusia, Mija铆l Murashko, sostuvo que la vacuna聽mostr贸 su efectividad y seguridad.聽Se帽al贸 que la vacuna聽ser谩 producida en dos plataformas: por el Centro Nacional de Investigaci贸n de Epidemiolog铆a y Microbiolog铆a Gamaleya y la compa帽铆a Binnofarm.

Murashko declar贸 que聽sus pruebas cl铆nicas continuar谩n con la participaci贸n de聽miles de personas. “Los desarrolladores de la vacuna prepararon los documentos para la realizaci贸n de las futuras investigaciones cl铆nicas con聽la participaci贸n de varios miles de personas.聽Para la vigilancia r谩pida del estado de salud de los vacunados y el control de eficacia y seguridad, el Ministerio de Salud de Rusia crea un contorno digital 煤nico聽que permite vigilar la seguridad y calidad del f谩rmaco en todas las etapas del ciclo vital”, afirm贸.

El ministro hizo hincapi茅 en que Rusia “b谩sicamente” es el primer pa铆s del mundo en registrar su propia vacuna contra el virus. “Hay unos desarrollos de los colegas chinos, que est谩n en la etapa de registro [鈥, hay tambi茅n una serie [de desarrollos] en otros pa铆ses, pero all铆 todav铆a contin煤an las investigaciones cl铆nicas”, dijo, a帽adiendo que聽Rusia es el primer pa铆s en recibir “un certificado de registro en su pleno formato”.
