Murió Jorge Urso, el ex juez que ordenó la detención de Carlos Menem

El ex juez federal Jorge Urso, quien envió a prisión a Carlos Menem, falleció luego de sufrir un accidente mientras andaba a caballo en un campo.

El ex juez federal Jorge Urso falleció este miércoles en la localidad bonaerense de Moreno luego de sufrir un accidente mientras andaba a caballo en un campo. Según confirmaron a NA allegados a la familia del ex magistrado, el deceso ocurrió esta mañana luego de que Urso se golpeara la cabeza al caer de la montura.

El hecho tuvo lugar localidad bonaerense de Moreno, en el centro hípico San Salvador, ubicado en la calle Puente Márquez y Segundo Sombras, y un testigo -jinete profesional- fue quien dio aviso al servicio de emergencias. Según las primeras informaciones no hubo salto desde el caballo si no que simplemente Urso cayó del mismo y falleció al golpear su cabeza contra el suelo.

Interviene en la causa la UFI 1 Moreno, que tiene a cargo el fiscal Leandro Ventricelli para determinar las causales del hecho que llevaron a la muerte al ex magistrado.

Urso fue uno de los nombres “fuertes” de Comodoro Py por el impacto político de sus causas. Fue quien metió preso en forma domiciliaria al ex presidente Carlos Menem en la causa por el tráfico irregular de armas a Croacia y Ecuador.

Su designación se había producido en 1993, cuando se hizo cargo del Juzgado Nacional en lo Criminal y Correccional Federal N° 8 hasta que renunció en 2006 apremiado por varias denuncias sobre mal desempeño en su cargo vinculadas a su sospechado crecimiento patrimonial.

Urso, uno de los jueces de la “servilleta” denominados así por el ex ministro Domingo Cavallo a los magistrados controlados por el menemismo, renunció cuando investigaba y había ordenado la detención de Luis D’Elía por la toma de la comisaría del barrio porteño de La Boca, hecho por el cual años más tarde el dirigente social terminó condenado.
