Atalanta en modo River y el PSG en semifinales

Con varios argentinos en el partido, los franceses se impusieron por 2-1 y esperan por Atlético Madrid o Leipzig.

Un PSG agónico, con Neymar y Mbappé, que fue suplente, en plan figuras, solucionaron en tres minutos finales una clasificación que la Atalanta le negó hasta el minuto 90′, el del 1-1. Luego, en el descuento, Neymar, Mbappé.. Choupo-Moting… y vino el 1-2 final, que mete al PSG en semifinales de forma agónica.

Ya la primera parte el partido fue trepidante. ‘El Papu’, en el minuto 2, y Neymar, en un mano a mano en el 3′, fallaron las primeras ocasiones. No iban a ser las únicas en un partido planteado, en su modo suicida típico, por la Atalanta.

Jugarle a la DEA es muy difícil. Un equipo valiente, que te juega uno contra uno en todo el campo, y te lleva al límite hasta que el físico se lo permite. Con este sistema desgastante para el rival, el PSG no pudo armar su juego, con Herrera y Marquinhos asfixiados por sus pares. En estas circunstancias, Neymar fue la única salvación. El brasileño hizo un partidazo, yéndose cuando quiso… pero fallando dos manos a manos increíbles,. El del minuto 2 y otro en el 41′.

Cuando peor jugaba la Atalanta, eso sí, llegó el gol de Pasalic en el 26′, en un balón suelto tras un avance a puro corazón de Zapata. Un buen gol ante el que Neymar reaccionó, de nuevo, con un jugadón y un disparo desviado por un metro escaso.

Pero la DEA te plantea esos partidos… mientras le da el físico. Y en esto, en el minuto 60, con media hora por delante, salió Mbappé, reservado por Tuchel hasta que ya no se pudo más.

Desde ese momento, la DEA lo tuvo claro: aguantar atrás y salir con Zapata como ‘hombre diana’. El PSG dominaba mucho, pero sin hacer ocasiones claras. Pasaban los minutos… Keylor se lesionaba y tuvo que ser sustituido… pero no pasaba nada de cara a las áreas.

El último cuarto de hora fue agónico para el PSG, que creaba situaciones a través de Mbappé, pero sin peligro real, con un Neymar ya muy cansado.

En el 80 llegó la primera gran ocasión de Kylian, pero falló en su mano a mano. Así hasta que llegaron los cinco minutos fatídicos para la Atalanta. En el 90′, un centro de Neymar lo remató de forma agónica Marquinhos… esfumando las opciones de un Atalanta que ya se veía en semis. No sólo eso. En el 93′, una jugada entre Neymar y Mbappé la finalizó Choupo Moting y puso el 1-2 final.

Es la primera vez, en la era qatarí, que el PSG se mete en semis. Algo histórico. Y es la segunda en su historia, repitiendo la del año 95. Le eliminó el Milan por entonces. Este miércoles, la Atalanta estuvo a punto de frustrar ese sueño… pero Neymar y Mbappé estarán en semis finalmente.
