La actividad cambiaria estuvo sujeta tanto a la llegada de la misión del Fondo Monetario Internacional (FMI), con la que se buscará renegociar el acuerdo sellado hace más de dos años durante la Presidencia de Mauricio Macri, como a la licitación de US$ 750 millones, con la que el ministro de Economía, Martín Guzmán, busca abastecer a la plaza de divisas e impulsar nuevas bajas del paralelo y del contado con liquidación, para cumplir con su propósito de alcanzar una brecha no superior al 50%.
