La Selección Sub 23 argentina cayó 3 a 0 ante Japón en su segundo amistoso preparatorio para los Juegos Olímpicos.

La Selección sub 23 cayó derrotada ante Japón por 3 a 0 en el segundo partido amistoso preparatorio para los Juegos Olímpicos que se realizarán entre el 23 de julio y el 8 de agosto en Tokio.

El equipo de Fernando Batista fue superado con claridad por el conjunto nipón en la ciudad de Kytakyushu, donde no logró repetir el buen juego demostrado el viernes pasado cuando se impuso 1 a 0 ante el mismo rival en la capital japonesa.

En el complemento el local acentuó su dominio y en apenas cinco minutos aumentó a 3 a 0 el marcador con dos goles calcados de su capitán Itakura, que derrotó al arquero Jeremías Ledesma de cabeza luego dos tiros de esquina ejecutados por su figura, Kubo, que juega en el Getafe y pertenece al Real Madrid.

Argentina cerró de esta manera su gira con vistas a la competencia olímpica, cuyo programa será sorteado por la FIFA el próximo 21 de abril.

El equipo argentino no contó con muchos de sus jugadores titulares, que no fueron cedidos por los equipos para estos compromisos amistosos.

Los 16 clasificados son Argentina, Japón, España, Francia, Rumania, Alemania, Arabia Saudita, Corea del Sur, Australia, Costa de Marfil, Egipto, Sudáfrica, Brasil, Nueva Zelanda, México y Honduras.

El torneo de fútbol de los JJ.OO. tendrá lugar del 21 de julio al 7 de agosto en las ciudades de Tokio (Estadio Nacional y Estadio Olímpico), Sapporo, Miyagi, Kashima, Saitama y Yokohama.
