Ante la escalada de casos de coronavirus, el presidente Alberto Fernández y el resto de su gabinete tuvieron una reunión ayer por la tarde en la cual se analizó la posibilidad de tomar “medidas focalizadas” para disminuir los contagios. No obstante, desde Nación pretenden que los gobernadores sean quienes tomen la posta y avancen con cierres o mayores restricciones, de acuerdo a la situación epidemiológica particular de cada distrito.
”Todos tienen las herramientas necesarias para tomar medidas”, informaron a Télam desde Nación, en relación al artículo 17 del decreto de Necesidad y Urgencia (DNU) firmado el jueves pasado por el presidente Fernández. Ese apartado señala que los gobernadores y el jefe de Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires quedan facultados para adoptar “disposiciones adicionales” a las dispuestas, “focalizadas, transitorias y de alcance local”, con el fin de mitigar en forma temprana los contagios por Covid-19.
Y agrega que los mandatarios “podrán limitar en forma temporaria la realización de determinadas actividades y la circulación por horarios o por zonas”, y las mismas facultades podrán ejercer “si se detectare riesgo epidemiológico adicional por la aparición de una nueva variante de interés o preocupación del virus SARS-Cov-2 en los partidos o departamentos a su cargo”. La fuente indicó además que “hay diálogo permanente con los gobernadores”, especialmente a través del ministro del Interior, y señaló que seguirán “las reuniones” de este tipo.
Por otro lado, Santiago Cafiero, jefe de Gabinete de la Nación, había encabezado ayer un encuentro con el comité de expertos asesores del Gobierno por el coronavirus, quienes pidieron medidas más restrictivas de circulación en el Área Metropolitana de Buenos Aires (AMBA) y en las grandes ciudades del país.
”Si no bajamos la circulación de la gente no vamos a bajar la circulación del virus”, remarcaron los 22 expertos que participaron de la reunión por zoom, y manifestaron “mucha preocupación por el comportamiento social”, debido a que “no se respetan aforos” en lugares cerrados “ni la suspensión de las reuniones sociales”.
En ese marco, solicitaron “mayores controles” y “restringir reuniones presenciales”, y solicitaron analizar “medidas de cierre por poco tiempo, con principio y final”. En el reporte de ayer del Ministerio de Salud se constataron 27.001 casos y 217 fallecimientos.
