Hubo dudas hasta último momento sobre la performance del oficialismo en esta provincia, que en los últimos días se perfilaba positiva pero que durante el último mes, después del fallo adverso de la Corte Suprema, se pusieron en duda. Sin embargo, la tendencia definitiva del escrutinio provisorio terminó confirmando anoche, pasadas las 22, que el PJ local había logrado imponerse holgadamente, con la fórmula del vicegobernador Osvaldo Jaldo y el ministro del Interior, Miguel Acevedo, sobre el binomio de Juntos por el Cambio, conformado por el diputado nacional radical Roberto Sánchez y el intendente capitalino de origen peronista, Germán Alfaro.
Después del triunfo del peronismo en el sexto distrito más poblado, los gobernadores del PJ, que hace cinco días pidieron que haya una única lista en las PASO, buscarán tallar con mayor fuerza sobre diseño electoral nacional, atravesado por la la eterna disputa entre Alberto Fernández y Cristina Kirchner, donde buscan postularse por la Presidencia el ministro de Economía, Sergio Massa; su par de Interior, Eduardo “Wado” de Pedro; el embajador en Brasil, Daniel Scioli; y el jefe de Gabinete, Agustín Rossi.
El gobernador saliente, Juan Manzur, que participó activamente en la campaña incluso después de que su candidatura a vice fuera rechazada por la Corte Suprema, se prepara ahora para posicionarse en un cargo nacional, sea como postulante a un lugar en las listas del Ejecutivo o para una banca en el Congreso.
La diferencia del PJ sobre JXC superó los 15 puntos, como esperaba el oficialismo en los momentos de mayor optimismo, antes de la decisión del máximo tribunal de Justicia, conocido en mayo, que postergó la fecha de los comicios. El porcentaje del triunfo fue un motivo de festejo en la Plaza Independencia, al final de una jornada atravesada por las denuncias de los apoderados de Juntos por el Cambio sobre las demoras en la votación y supuestos movimientos irregulares en oficinas colindantes con el Banco Macro. En el oficialismo las desestimaron y las calificaron como parte de una campaña de desprestigio “desesperada” de parte de los referentes opositores locales.
El peronismo, que dejó entre paréntesis la sanguinaria interna entre Jaldo y Manzur durante la campaña, tuvo más motivos para celebrar además del triunfo provincial. Anoche quedó envalentonado con el avance de la ex ministra de Salud de Manzur, Rossana Chahla, que quedó muy cerca de imponerse sobre su rival en la capital, la diputada nacional radical Beatriz Ávila, esposa del actual intendente, Alfaro. Finalmente la UCR se perfilaba para retener el bastión, que concentra el 40 por ciento del padrón, pero por una diferencia inferior a la que esperaba.
El primer referente del gobierno que salió a hablar después del cierre de urnas fue el propio Manzur, que había votado en Yerba Buena por la mañana, esperó los resultados en su casa en esa misma localidad cercana a la Capital por la tarde, y se presentó en la gobernación pasadas las 20 . A las 21 caminó los metros que separan su despacho del Salón Blanco, donde se instaló la prensa local y nacional, y, micrófono en mano, destacó ante las cámaras que ya se había terminado la prolongada votación, y que los primeros números registraban una participación en torno al 80 por ciento. “Es una gran jornada democrática”, se jactó.
En ese momento también confirmó un hecho clave para el contexto nacional, que había trascendido minutos antes: la visita a la sede de la Gobernación de cuatro de los caudillos peronistas más importantes de la región. Gildo Insfrán (Formosa), Ricardo Quintela (La Rioja), Raúl Jalil (Catamarca) y Gerardo Zamora (Santiago del Estero) habían llegado de manera escalonada a la sede del Ejecutivo, junto a senadores y vicegobernadores de las provincias del Norte Grande, para acompañar la victoria, pero también para capitalizarla como un triunfo del bloque de gobernadores, que busca tallar en la pelea nacional en la previa del cierre de listas.
